Ireland-China Culture Education Centre

About Us

The Ireland-China Cultural Education Centre, (ICCEC), has been initiated by relevant institutions and professionals in the cultural and educational sectors of both Ireland and China. The ICCEC, while adhering to national policies, laws, and regulations, leverages the resources of both regions to enhance cooperation and exchanges in culture, education, science and technology.
The headquarters of the ICCEC is located in Cork, Ireland’s second-largest city, which is also a sister city of Shanghai. Cork has also signed Friendly City Development Cooperation agreements with Shenzhen, Hangzhou, and Wuxi. Since its inception, the ICCEC has benefited from these bilateral Friendly City agreements and actively responded to the “Belt and Road” initiative. The ICCEC is already involved in various Sino-Irish cultural and educational exchange projects, contributing to building an open, inclusive and interconnected world.
