Since its inception, ICCEC has received support and funding from the Irish local government. In April 2023, key members of ICCEC joined a delegation from Cork City Council on a visit to Shanghai, where they met with partner schools in China and organized a series of cultural exchange activities, further enhancing the relationship between Irish and Chinese schools.

Hangzhoufeel did a piece on Rockwell’s visit to Hangzhou Qiantang High School. Hangzhoufeel is run by the Hangzhou municipal government and operated by Hangzhou Daily Press Group with a reach to millions of subscribers in the Hangzhou area.

Connecting Cultures, Inspiring Futures
This package was produced by Zhejiang Provincial TV, for their Young Reporters series. It details the final morning of Villiers School visit to Hangzhou Fuyang High School. Zhejiang TV has an audience of tens of milllions in Zhejiang Province.
Ireland and China School Partnerships
HangZhou
The Irish Friendship Exchange delegation in Hangzhou, led by the ICCEC, attended the“China-Ireland Culture and Education Exchange Meeting” and the friendship signing ceremony between Wenhui Middle School, Hangzhou, and Midleton College, Cork.
ShangHai
Mr. Neil Clarke, CEO of ICCEC, and Director Xiao of Shanghai University Basic Education Group at the official signing ceremony. This partnership marks a significant step in fostering deeper collaboration in primary and secondary education between Ireland and China, creating new opportunities for academic exchange and cross-cultural learning.
HongKong
The Irish School's Delegation led by the ICCEC attends an event with the Direct Subsidy Schools of Hong Kong. The meeting created the pathway to collaboration between Irish schools and the 70+ schools in the DSS Hong Kong family of schools.
